Joel Armstrong is a Canadian progressive house and breaks producer whose most productive stretch ran from the middle of the 2000s into the turn of the decade. Serenity landed on Proton Music in 2005, Silver Moon on France's Babylon Records in 2006 with a Derek Howell remix on the flip, and The Jitters on Ascension Records Digital in 2007. He also remixed Markus Schulz's Ibiza '06 that same year. By 2008 he had three 12"s out on Dot Dot Records, among them The Vancity EP, plus El Squelcho on Nightshade and Runaway Reject with Derek Kehler on Proton Particles. He is a member of the Peg City Allstars.
Two of those years touch Hunya Munya. Still Here (HMDIGITAL007, 2006) is his ten-minute breaks track with Gobo for the label's digital sublabel. The other is his remix of Boom Jinx's Flicker, cut in the same window and arriving on the digital edition of HMR006 rather than on the 2007 12".
