Yvel & Tristan

Hungarian progressive-house duo, remixed Snake Sedrick & Khans's Circular for Hunya Munya Records in 2005 after John Digweed placed their earlier work on Kiss 100 and Nick Warren used a remix of theirs on Global Underground 028 Shanghai.
Hungarian electronic producer duo Yvel & Tristan emerged in 2003 and quickly became one of the country's most distinctive progressive-house voices. Their breakthrough came through remix work.
Their 2004 rework of The Quasar's Together caught the ear of John Digweed, who played it on his Kiss 100 show and kicked the duo's name out into the wider European progressive circuit. Their remix of The Quasar's Pillow landed on Global Underground 028: Shanghai mixed by Nick Warren, still the only Hungarian production ever included on a GU mix compilation. A second Quasar remix (October) earned a second Digweed spin in 2005.
In late 2005 Snake Sedrick invited them to remix Circular for Hunya Munya Records, placing the duo on the HMR roster as digital remixers alongside the 12" vinyl lineage of HMR001 through HMR009.
They hosted long-running radio shows on Justmusic.fm (Foundation Hours) and Proton Radio (Indigo, with Andro and Snake Sedrick), and toured across Central and Eastern Europe including Czech Republic, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Greece. Shared bills with Steve Lawler, Chris Fortier, Lee Burridge, James Zabiela, Seb Fontaine, Way Out West, and others.
